Ashley Forbes, COA:  Executive Director

Ashley Forbes serves as the Executive Director for Eye Doctors of Lancaster, bringing 19 years of ophthalmic experience to her leadership role. With a bachelor’s degree in business and certification as a certified ophthalmic assistant, Ashley seamlessly blends her academic foundation with extensive hands-on expertise in the field. Over the course of her nine-year tenure with the organization, she has been instrumental in driving its growth and success, making a lasting impact on both the practice and the community it serves.

Beyond her professional achievements, Ashley’s life is deeply enriched by her family and faith. Married to Pastor Dustin Forbes, she embraces her role as a pastor’s wife within their non-denominational ministry, The Way Church, supporting her husband’s work with dedication and grace. Together, they are the proud parents of two children, Hayden and Loreali, who bring joy and purpose to their lives.

Ashley’s commitment to service extends far beyond her career and family

responsibilities. In her spare time, she volunteers with Side Street Mission in Lancaster City, offering support and compassion to those in need. Her passion for helping others has also led her on multiple overseas mission's trips, where she assists with cataract surgeries, restoring sight to underserved communities around the world.
