Daniel Strybos

Dr. Strybos joined Eye Doctors of Lancaster in 2026. He has been in private practice in New Holland, PA since 2011. He is a Lancaster County native and is a graduate of Hempfield High School. He completed his undergraduate degree at Millersville University, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Dr. Strybos received his doctorate with clinical honors from Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia, where he trained in primary care, pediatrics, emergent care, and ocular therapeutics, as well as in fitting specialty contact lenses, including scleral lenses, and managing ocular disease. His training also included externships in Philadelphia, PA, New Holland, PA, Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and Newington, CT.



Professionally, Dr. Strybos is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Pennsylvania Optometric Association, and is a past president of the Lancaster County Optometric Society, now serving as the Treasurer of LCOS. He was honored as the Young Optometrist of the year for Lancaster County in 2017. He became a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry in 2025, an exclusive organization for those demonstrating academic and clinical excellence. 


Locally, Dr. Strybos has worked with both CrossNet and Mission Vision to deliver free eye exams, custom eyeglasses, and other essential supplies directly to homeless, uninsured, working poor, and low-fixed income individuals. He also meets several times per year with a low vision support group at Gardenspot Village Retirement Community, and is a participating doctor in the InfantSEE program.


Dr. Strybos is married to a former classmate and fellow optometrist, Sarah. They live in Manheim Township with their daughters Ellie and Jocelyn. Dr. Strybos enjoys playing and listening to all kinds of music, craft beer and homebrewing, and is an avid ice hockey fan.
