What I enjoy most about my new vision is the wide range of distance & close I can see
without glasses. My surgical post-op experience has been amazing. My only suggestion
would be to really stress the importance of having a driver even after the first contact
lens trial. It took me several hours to acclimate my vision to see well enough to drive. - W.D.

They took the time necessary to fully explain what to expect during the surgery, what to do to prepare for it and what to do during the recovery process. What I like most is that I can see!!! Everything is so clear. I must have been in elementary school since I was able to see this well!! My entire experience was excellent. I felt very cared for and my needs were met quickly and respectfully! The glasses were my biggest challenge--and that just made it even more special when I could take them off for good!!! I would like to thank Dr. Steven Donnelly and his entire staff for a very favorable experience with my Light Adjustable Lens procedure to correct cataracts. I appreciated the positive, upbeat attitudes from everyone. Admittedly it was not totally fun wearing the UV protective glasses for six weeks following my surgery (only due to the LAL I chose) but so worth it in the end. Small price to pay for distance vision that is so much clearer and I can now read without prescription glasses. While the LAL Lenses were a bit costlier, I’ll save that cost over the next few years by not having to buy prescription glasses. Overall, this was a very positive experience for anyone needing lenses and I truly recommend Dr. Donnelly for the lens surgery (no matter which lenses are right for you).
